Raymond E. Petersen
President
Raymond E. Petersen joined Inland in 1981. Mr. Petersen is responsible for the selection and approval of all corporate and limited partnership financing, as well as for the daily supervision of the commercial lending activity of Inland Mortgage Capital Corporation where he is President. Prior to joining Inland, Mr. Petersen was affiliated with the mortgage banking firm of Downs, Mohl Mortgage Corporation, serving as President and Chief Executive Officer. Previously he was associated with the mortgage banking houses of B. B. Cohen & Company and Percy Wilson Mortgage and Finance Corporation. Through his career, Mr. Petersen has financed over $5 billion of income producing properties. Mr. Petersen's professional credentials include a B. A. degree from DePaul University , senior membership in the National Association of Review Appraisers, State of Illinois licensed real estate broker, and licensed securities representative. Mr. Petersen is currently a Director of Inland Bank of Westchester , Illinois . |

Art Rendak
Vice President, Chief Credit Officer
Art Rendak joined Inland in 2000. He is currently Vice President and serves as the Chief Credit Officer for the REVCAP program. After starting off his career at Inland as an underwriter, Mr. Rendak moved to an originator position handling the eastern United States and was named Vice President of the company in 2003. He moved into the Chief Credit Officer position in 2005. Prior to his career at Inland, Mr. Rendak was a First Vice President and real estate loan officer at Centura Bank in Virginia and spent 10 years working at various banks first as a special assets workout specialist and then in real estate lending. Prior to his finance career, Mr. Rendak spent several years as an auditor for a public accounting firm. Mr. Rendak received a B. S. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and passed the CPA exam in 1989.

John Berghorst
Vice President, Director of Underwriting
John Berghorst joined Inland Mortgage Capital Corporation in 2007 as the Director of Underwriting for REVCAP, a high leverage, value added lending program. He oversees a team of commercial real estate underwriters, shepherding loans from the originations team from the point of approved pre-screen through formal committee approval, documentation and closing.
Mr. Berghorst started his career with LaSalle National Bank in 1990, working in the Real Estate Group as an analyst. During his tenure at LaSalle, he became a Vice President, loan officer responsible for relationships with both independent developers and large real estate companies. In 1998, Mr. Berghorst joined Fremont Investment & Loan as a Vice President and Senior Loan Originator, and originated $400 million in loans before moving into a portfolio management role with the company in 2004. During his last two years with Fremont, Mr. Berghorst was a Regional Manager for the Asset Management Group leading a team of five asset managers, responsible for 120 loans and over $5.0 billion in commitments. Mr. Berghorst obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Patrick O'Meara
Vice President, National Director of Originations
Patrick O’Meara is Vice President of Inland Mortgage Capital Corporation’s REVCAP program for the Midwest region. He has 10 years experience in commercial real estate finance and has been with Inland since 2002. Prior to his current position he arranged acquisition and development financing for the various groups within the Inland Group of Companies and was Senior Underwriter for the REVCAP program. Previous to Inland, Mr. O’Meara was with Heller Financial, now a GE Capital company, as an Underwriter and Investment Manager in their CMBS B-Piece investment group. His role included evaluating and investing over $100 million in subordinated CMBS debt and managing a $320 million investment portfolio of CMBS bonds. Prior to that, Mr. O’Meara managed portfolios of fixed-rate CMBS loans prior to securitization and then facilitated the securitization of those loans for the Heller Express CMBS program. Mr. O’Meara holds B.S.B. degrees in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arizona and a Certification from City University in London, UK. He is a member of CCIM, REIA, Chicago Real Estate Council and the Executive Club of Chicago. He is also a board member of the Lakeview YMCA and a licensed Illinois real estate broker. |
